In Australia, more than 120,000 men, women and children do not have a place to call home or a safe place to sleep. In a country as prosperous as ours, it is deeply concerning that homelessness continues to grow.
For people experiencing homelessness, accessing healthcare can be incredibly difficult. Many live with complex health and psychosocial needs but face significant barriers to traditional services, meaning they often go without the care they need.
Since 2008, Homeless Healthcare has been working to change this by delivering essential healthcare directly to vulnerable and hard-to-reach people in our community—people who might otherwise slip through the cracks.
Join us for Homeless Healthcare’s Annual Charity Lunch, set against the beautiful waterfront backdrop of the Royal Freshwater Bay Yacht Club.
Enjoy a relaxed and uplifting afternoon featuring a gourmet two-course lunch, complimentary drinks on arrival, and live entertainment from the wonderful soprano Harriet Marshall. Guests will also enjoy the majestic vocals and intricate lead lines of Sam Gibson and Jai Rodrigues from local band Dune Cartel, along with fantastic door prizes throughout the afternoon.
There will be a stunning raffle prize from Keiko Uno, as well as an exciting live and silent auction featuring incredible experiences including:
• Tickets to the Singapore Grand Prix
• A corporate box at a West Coast Eagles game
• An unforgettable New Year’s Eve experience on Sydney Harbour
• And many more fantastic prizes
The live auction will be led by local real estate agent Chris Shellabear, who will be bringing plenty of energy to the afternoon.
By attending, you’ll be helping ensure that people experiencing homelessness in Perth can access the healthcare they deserve, regardless of their circumstances.
We would love you to join us for an afternoon of great food, entertainment and generosity—while making a real difference in our community.
