Homeless Healthcare raises $75,000 for mobile clinics and street outreach services at their annual charity lunch.

Homeless Healthcare hosted their annual charity lunch on Friday the 6th of June 2025. The event was sold-out with over 260 guests in attendance.

The charity lunch is an annual fundraiser for Homeless Healthcare to raise money in order for them to continue giving back to the community. Held at the Royal Freshwater Bay Yacht Club, the packed event included speeches from CEO Alison Sayer and HHC Founder Dr Andrew Davies as well as an informative panel from HHC staff and a silent auction.

The panel consisted of Nurse Practitioner Jo Wilson, Peer Support Worker Zane Cole and General Practitioner (GP) Dr Keshini Saverimutto. Questions directed from event MC Joel Jackson as well as from the audience introduced an informative element to the fundraiser, allowing guests to recognise exactly what their donations would help achieve and deepen their understanding of the important work the charity does in the community.

The silent auction was a highlight of the event, with an array of exciting items and experiences on offer including artwork, jewellery and food and wine hampers, generously donated by supporters in the community.

Homeless Healthcare CEO Alison Sayer said “The event was a great success! There was a fantastic atmosphere and a big turnout. We are so grateful for all of the support we received through both businesses and the wider community and we hope to continue to receive such support in the future.”

Homeless Healthcare is delighted to share that the event helped raise $75,000 in support for the vital healthcare services the organisation provides to those in need.

The money will be put towards medical equipment for mobile clinics and the Street Health outreach service run by HHC.
